Spring Break As Told By Bojack Horseman

Spring break is finally here and college students around the country are rejoicing. Surprisingly, a lot of aspects of spring break are similar to the very weird and funny (as well as slightly depressing) Netflix show "Bojack Horseman." It turns out, however, that many of the show's crazy moments can perfectly describe a college student's spring break experience.

1. When midterms are finally over and you are absolutely ready for Spring Break.

2. When you start getting ready for a night out with your friends.

3. When you're leaving your dorm and realized that you haven't even started packing yet.

4. When you had too much to drink the night before.

5. When you realize how much work you have when you come back to school.

6. When you want to be on vacation forever but realize that there are only ten days of Spring Break.

7. When you finally get some sleep.

8. When you actually want to do something productive during spring break but you just end up doing nothing.

9. When you thought that you were good with money management until Spring Break hits.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
