If you're always on the hunt for something good to watch this spooky season look no further. Below is a compiled list of just ten of the best things to watch this October.
1. Hocus Pocus
After moving to Salem, Mass., teenager Max Dennison explores an abandoned house with his sister Dai and their new friend Allison. Max accidentally frees a coven of evil witches who used to live in the house by lighting the black flame candle. Now, with the help of a magical cat (Zachary Binx) the kids have to steal the witches' book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal and reeking havoc on the children of Salem.
2. All the Halloween Town Movies
Marnie and her brother/sister get a big shock when they follow grandma home to Halloweentown- eventually realizing they come from a family of witches. The town is the only place where supernatural beings can lead a 'normal' life, but something is brewing. Not only does Marnie find out she is a witch, but she must also fight evil to save the rest of Halloween town/the world.
3. American Horror Story
A house haunted by murderous spirits, a Catholic insane asylum from the 60s, a coven of witches, a freak show starring some truly twisted characters, a hotel filled with serial killers run by a vampire, an isolated haunted shack that may hold the secrets to the disappearance of a Roanoke colony, a cult on the rise after the 2016 presidential election and the apocalypse.
4. ANY Tim Burton Movie
Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, the Corpse Bride, Frankenweenie, Caroline and many more.
5. Monster House
No adults believe these three kids when they say that the neighboring residence is a living creature that means to harm them. With Halloween approaching, the trio must find a way to destroy the structure before innocent trick-or-treaters meet ghastly ends.
6. Buzzfeed Unsolved
Web video live-action/documentary series created by Buzzfeed that discusses unsolved mysteries, covering both true crimes and supernatural cases.
7. The Terrifier
A maniacal clown terrorizes three young women and anyone else in his way on Halloween night
8. Jigsaw
Wanna play a game? After a series of murders bearing all the markings of the Jigsaw killer, law enforcement officials find themselves chasing the ghost of a man who has been dead for over a decade, they become embroiled in a new game that's only just begun.
9. Stranger Things
When one of their friends go missing, the rest of the gang sets out to find him. They enlist the help of a strange girl with some supernatural powers. Exploring the upside down world to get their friend back and fighting some monstrous beings
