15 Songs To Clear The Skin & Soothe The Soul.

There's just some music that puts a smile on my face whenever I hear it play. And in the stressful world we live in, isn't that exactly what most of us need? Handpicked from my liked songs on Spotify, I've listed some of the best of the best that I can always vibe to, and hopefully, you all will too.

"Song For Another Time"- Old Dominion

Why we vibe: This masterpiece references dozens of other songs and feels nostalgic yet fresh. It reminds me of all the best things in life, like summertime and dancing.

La Roux - Bulletproof (Official Video)

Why we vibe: We've all heard this song before, and you cannot deny the feeling that takes over you when you listen. It gets your foot tapping no matter what.

"Canyon Moon"- Harry Styles

Why we vibe: Have you ever wanted to just go on a spontaneous road trip across the country? This song will do that to you. Now, everyone say "Thank you, Mr. Styles".

"Waterloo"- Hugh Skinner, Lily James

Why we vibe: I'm currently typing this from a laptop with a Mamma Mia 2 sticker on it, so you know I'm always down for some ABBA, but this specific tune is a catchy love song and a history lesson wrapped up in one, and I love the effort that went into doing that for us.

"High Horse"- Kacey Musgraves

Why we vibe: This girl can do no wrong, and this song is no exception. Whether it's the clever wordplay in the lyrics or the bad b***h energy this jam gives off, I'd listen to it all day.

"Rollercoaster"- Bleachers

Why we vibe: You know those cute scenes in tv shows or movies where two people have a falling in love montage, and you see a bunch of moments of them together in like an aesthically-pleasing location like a beach or amusement park, this would most definitely be the song playing.

"Sway With Me"- Saweetie, GALXARA

Why we vibe: It's a refreshing remake of a classic tune that makes you feel like 100% that b***h.

"Cleopatra"- The Lumineers

Why we vibe: I just really enjoy songs with hidden details and a story to them, and the fact that this one references the true story of Cleopatra/ the Shakespeare play makes me so content.

"Something That I Want"- Grace Potter

Why we vibe: This one might seem strange, but we all deep down inside want to marry Flynn Rider (My bad, Eugene Fitzherbert), and the lyrics in this bop are too cute to ignore.

"Maniac"- Conan Gray

Why we vibe: If you've ever called yourself a "CrAcKhEaD" before, (don't be ashamed, we all have) this can be your anthem.

"Take Me Home"- Cash Cash, Bebe Rexha

Why we vibe: This makes me feel like ~The Main Character~ of my life.

"My Body"- Young the Giant

Why we vibe: The only way to sing the chorus of this song is by screaming it.

"Backbeat"- Dagny

Why we vibe: Any dance you do to this underrated bop just works. I don't make the rules.

"Heartache Medication"- Jon Pardi

Why we vibe: This song has you cursing an ex you never actually had.

"Ladies' Choice"- Zac Efron

Why we vibe: Bet you didn't see this one coming, but I recently re-listened to this banger, and wow, 6 year old me was really singing some scandalous lines when this song first came out.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
