There is nothing better than summertime -- okay, well maybe football season. But summertime is the best time to travel the world, grab your friends, go on a drive, head to the beach or just relax.

Whatever you decide to do this summer, you are going to need a killer soundtrack. Here are a few songs to make your adventure that much better.

"Despacito (Feat. Justin Bieber) Remix” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee"

This is such a fun, international hit that will have you dancing with your friends and wishing you were in Puerto Rico, like the song says.

“That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars

This is definitely a song you will like when you are driving with all your friends in the car.

“Slow Hands” by Niall Horan

This Irishman and former member of 1D made this funky-pop song that is seductive and reminds me of early hits from John Mayer and Jack Johnson.

“Strip That Down” by Liam Payne

It seems to be the summer of 1D-gone-solo artists. Liam’s song will have you dancing wishing you were in a club with your friends, or it could turn your home into a club.

“Malibu” by Miley Cyrus

Miley’s new song will bring Malibu, California to wherever you are this summer, along with good vibes.

“Reminding Me (Feat. Vanessa Hudgens)” by Shawn Hook

This song may not be as well-known, but it is such a powerful, reminiscent song. Shawn Hook may not be that famous in the US, but he very well should be and this song is proof.

“Crying in the Club” by Camila Cabello

This song from the former member of Fifth Harmony’s debut album contains themes of the healing powers of music and dancing your heartbreak away. It is perfect for the summertime.

“Swish Swish (Feat. Nicki Minaj)” by Katy Perry

This is a new pop hit by Katy Perry that seems to attack an adversary. Rumors are going around that this is an attack at Taylor Swift (Swish? Swift?). Even if there is still “bad blood” between the two, this song is a great addition to any summer playlist.

“Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles

This list wouldn’t be complete without the other 1D member who went solo leading up to the summer. This song is a Bowie-meets-Elton John and a true jam.

"Stay" by Zedd and Alessia Cara

Whether you want your friends to stick around, summer to stay, or both, this song is a perfect pop jam to end your summer playlist.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
