Here are some songs to jam to during a late-night drive.

1. "I'll Be Home Soon" by Shoffy

This is an upbeat airy song that just makes you want to smile. The chorus is very catchy so even if you're with people who don't know it, they'll still be able to enjoy it. It is just an overall chill song that sets the tone for the night.

2. "Neighbors" by J. Cole

This song is really good for drives if you need a break from singing and just want a good listening song. There is a lot of real lyrics in it that are super eye-opening so if you just sit back and absorb it you will get so much from it. Its beat is also relaxing laid and back so that mellows the song out enough to where it's not too heavy with the lyrics.

3. "Saturday Nights" by Khalid

Honestly, most of Khalid's songs could be classified as perfect windows down, late-night drives songs. This one in particular is just really relaxing and flows just right. It hits that sweet spot of catchy yet also relatable. Khalid's voice is just so soothing and has a very particular vibe around his music that I never get tired of.

4. "i been dancing in my room" by omgkirby

This song is super light-hearted and happy. It makes you think of that particular person that gives you feel butterflies in your stomach. It's a cute dainty song that just has a warm feeling surrounding it.

5. "Chicago Freestyle" by Drake ft. Giveon

The vibe of this song is amazing. It's a song that is both an easy listener but could also be super complex and make you really analyze it. It just really sets the mood for a chill time. It's a good mix of upbeat and slow that makes it perfect for late. night drives.

6. "alive" by ROLE MODEL

The entire premise of this song is to feel like you're alive again. I think that while in a car at night just driving is one of the most surreal moments. the world around you is calm and you can really reflect on where you are in your life. It's super easy to get caught up in life and not actually live it. I think listening to this song in that particular scenario just makes you think a little differently.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
