25 Not-So-Christmas Songs On My December Playlist

Don't get me wrong, I love all things Christmas, especially the music. But I simply cannot devote all of December to JUST Christmas music. I love listening to music I can relate to or music that just makes me feel some type of way, but Christmas music doesn't really do that for me. Most of it isn't even relatable to begin with, and it especially isn't this year.

So, here are 25 songs I will be rocking out to all month long in addition to the Sounds of the Seasons channel my mom has on 24/7.

1. "Line Without A Hook" — Ricky Montgomery

2. "Wasted" — MKTO

3. "Leave a Light On" — Tom Walker

4. "San Fransisco" — The Mowgli's

5. "(Coffee's for Closers)" — Fall Out Boy

6. "everyone blooms" — The Front Bottoms

7. "Holy"— Justin Bieber and Chance the Rapper

8. "Cigarette Daydreams" — Cage the Elephant

9. "Until We Get There" — Lucius

10. "Wonder" — Shawn Mendes

11. "Ophelia" — The Lumineers

12. "Walking Far from Home" — Iron &Wine

13. "A Little Bit Yours" — JP Saxe

14. "Your Graduation" — Modern Baseball

15. "The Night We Met" — Lord Huron

16. "This Is Gospel" — Panic! At The Disco

17. "You're Somebody Else" — flora cash

18. "There Will Be Time" — Mumford & Sons and Baaba Maal

19. "Mr. Jones" — Counting Crows

20. "The Kill" — Thirty Seconds to Mars

21. "Like Gold" — Vance Joy

22. "Outnumbered" — Dermot Kennedy

23. "I And Love And You" — The Avett Brothers

24. "Lost In My Mind" — The Head and the Heart

25. "Birdhouse in Your Soul" — They Might Be Giants

Clearly, it is one rollercoaster of a playlist. My taste in music is unapologetically not conducive to one genre. And the few songs that I chose to leave off of this list would throw you for even more of a loop.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
