I'm from a super small town in northwest Georgia that many people have never heard of, and trying to explain to people what it's like is pretty hard. You really have to live here to understand what life is like here.
Here are just a few things that you could probably write a book about if you do live in a small southern town like me.
1. The only thing that anyone cares about is the high school football team
2. There is nothing to do when your in town visiting
3. Everyone knows you and your family
4. You often see tractors drive on the main roads
5. The occasional horse on the road...
6. The hand wave or finger raising while your driving and make eye contact
7. You probably went to school with a kid who had a parent on the school staff, if not mulitple.
8. If you aren't from here, someone is bound to ask where your from, then ask you if you know their family from there
9. You probably went to school with the kid, or kids, who kept a shot gun in his truck that belonged to his dad
10. You'll hear ' Bless your heart' In more than one ways.
