I know I'm no expert when it comes to picking schools, but I'd like to think that I made a pretty good decision when it comes to the choice I made. Just to give you a little background, I graduated high school in 2015. When I went through my process, it was long and hard. I got accepted into all of the schools I applied to, so it was a tough decision to make. Fast forward three years and my sister who is graduating from high school this year, is in a similar situation. She got accepted into almost all of the schools she applied to, and she's freaking out a little bit when it comes to making a decision. I completely understand where she's coming from. It is a big decision to make, especially if you are planning on staying there for four years and attending that school from out-of-state.
My advice to you Taylor is to go with your gut. Go and visit the schools again, even if it's just one more time and really picture yourself eating lunch in the dining hall or walking to class in the snow. If you can't picture yourself doing those things (even the not so fun ones), then it's not the right school for you. I know your decision is a little bit harder since you got into some pretty big-time schools and I didn't go through that process but this is the best advice I can give you: Think to yourself and put all the other factors to the side like the price and what not and ask yourself "Can I see myself walking up and down these walkways or streets?" If the answer is no, then you have the answer for that school, it's a no. I wish you all the best in the upcoming months and I know you will make the best decision for yourself. I couldn't be more proud.
