Spring break has passed, and students are hunkering down to finish all their schoolwork before summer comes and hits us all in the face. Besides studying, it seems that more people are going to the gym to try and get that "summer bod." If you're new to getting in shape, know that you're not alone because I'm sure the workers at Dunder-Mifflon have felt the exact same way, but in a different way:
1. Eating "healthy" food that is actually super disgusting.
2. Trying a new sport or activity where you have no idea what your doing, but you play it off that you're an expert.
3. When everything hurts after you've run 1/2 a mile.
4. Enough said.
5. When your best friend wants to go the gym, but you're still tired from that half mile you did a week ago.
6. Seeing already fit people at the gym.
7. How you feel after working out.
8. Walking into the weight room like.
9. When people start talking about their latest diet, but you know diets are all b.s.
10. Rest days got you like.
11. Knowing you're beautiful just they way you are, and don't need to get "in shape."
Getting in shape is not something you "have" to do. But, if it's something you want to do, be healthy about it. Eat foods that feel good, and move your body in a way that makes you happy.
