Shallow Lyrics Meaning Written by Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper

The song Shallow is a collaboration between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Released on 27 September 2018. This song is for the romantic movie “A Star Is Born.” The song is produced by Lady Gaga and Benjamin Rice, it’s portraying the two characters Ally and Jackson performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley respectively. Ally had a dream of singing and wrote a song that she briefly sings for Jackson. Jackson made her dream true by inviting her to his concert show in Los Angeles. Jackson starts singing Ally’s song and then gives Allay a big hand to come on stage and join him, giving an onstage performance. That onstage stride got viral and uplifted Allay’s singing career. The Shallow lyrics are basically a deep conversation between a man and a woman, in which they listen to each other quietly and connect. The writer of this song is Lady Gaga, Andrew Wyatt, Anthony Rossomando, and Mark Ronson. The length of this video is almost 3:37 minute.

The lyrics meanings of the track:

The song lyrics are about Jackson already a star and Ally who is a simple bar singer and has a dream of pursuing professional singing. They both met at the bar where she was singing, and start dating where Jackson talks to her and asks “Is she only wanna settle in this small place or live a life as a superstar” at that point she sings her song lines for him. The Shallow lyrics are giving the hint both are in love with each other and he is helping her to put the first step toward her dream and allay helping him to in dealing with the alcoholic superstar life in which he is stuck in personal battles. Both help and love each other. In the second verse Allay come to know that Jackson’s hardcore persona is basically covering the void which his personal trauma gave him. Allay alludes to Jackson that the one thing that comes in the way of her success to become a superstar is her looks specifically her nose. Because people prefer her looks rather than her singing and the message she wants to give through her singing. But Jackson gives her beautiful eye contact and said you are beautiful. These lines are giving the best meaning of “we are far from the shallow now”.

(Verse 1)

Tell me somethin’, girl
Are you happy in this modern world?
Or do you need more?
Is there somethin’ else you’re searchin’ for?

(Chorus)

I’m off the deep end, watch as I dive in
I’ll never meet the ground
Crash through the surface, where they can’t hurt us
We’re far from the shallow now

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
