For many of us, music is what gets us through a break up, gets out bed in the morning, or helps us kick butt during a hard work out. Finding the right beat or the perfect lyric can change up your whole day or even be the latest motto to how your gonna tackle the world at hand.

Music plays such a vital role in my attitude towards the day that I have created an “I Love Myself” playlist for whenever I need that extra motivation. So if you’re experiencing some self-doubt and need a confidence boost, here are some of my favorite self-loving, go take on the world, songs.

1. "I Love Me" by Meghan Trainor

But I can see clear when looking at the mirror
Saying God made me just right

This song is so upbeat and catchy, and it is absolutely one of my favorites. The lyrics just make you wanna strut your stuff all day!

2. "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga

Don't hide yourself in regret
Just love yourself and you're set
I'm on the right track, baby
I was born this way

An absolute modern classic that needs little explanation. We all know how Lady Gaga brings out our beautiful inner monster.

3. "Learn To Let Go" by Kesha

The past can't haunt me if I don't let it
Live and learn and never forget it

Kesha has made such an incredible comeback with some amazing songs since her ordeal with her producer. This song makes me forget any past regrets, and it's a great reminder that every day is a chance for a new and better beginning.

4. "Sorry Not Sorry" by Demi Lovato

Now I'm out here looking like revenge
Feelin' like a ten, the best I ever been
And yeah, I know how bad it must hurt

Honestly, this is my favorite song to listen to after a good workout. It's just an awesome reminder of how far you have come and how the whole world should appreciate you. Forget the haters!

5. "Thanks For Nothing" by Brandyn Burnette

Somebody else would love me for myself
Feeling like new when I owe it to you
Thanks for nothing!

This song starts out slowly, but it picks up pretty fast. Have a significant other or a crush that you need to get over? This song is the perfect remedy, and it will make you want to get back out there in a heartbeat.

6. "Looking Up" by SafetySuit

It's all in how you see it
Just a little bit of misdirection
Sometimes you gotta tell yourself
That the best is to come and the worst times are gone

This song is a great way to just feel good about life. Even in the worst of times, there is always aa silver lining. SafetySuit does a great job of giving you every reason to look up and keep waiting for the sunshine.

7. "Go For Broke" by Machine Gun Kelly

But I'm a sinner too so I ain't preachin'
Just keep on dreamin'
'Cause all the bad days come for good reasons

I absolutely love MGK, and this song from his latest album is amazing. It's catchy and reminds you to keep chugging through life.

8. "Glorious" by Macklemore

Been chasing dreams, but I never slept
I got a new attitude and a lease on life
And some peace of mind

If you need something super upbeat, Macklemore has got you covered with this song. I love running to it, and it's my anthem to conquering the world.

9. "Free" by Harper Grae

You can't chain a mountain

You can't cage the sea

I'm meant to be free

Harper Grae fills this song with so much soul. This song is especially helpful to single people, since it's a great anthem about to living life to your fullest.

10. F**kin' Perfect by P!nk

Pretty, pretty please
Don't you ever, ever feel
Like you're less than f**king perfect

A classic throwback and a true reminder that we really are perfect.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine.
