Rose and Jack are two of the most iconic film characters of all time. Say their names and immediately any teenager or adult will know that you are talking about "Titanic." "Titantic," in my humble—yet biased—opinion, is the best movie ever created. I first watched "Titantic" when I was 12 years old and it has been my favorite movie ever since. Here are seven reasons why I love this 1997 classic:

1. It's a tragic love story.

The love between Rose and Jack is undeniable. From the moment they met, there was an instant connection. Even though (SPOILER ALERT!) Jack dies at the end of the movie, Rose never forgets Jack throughout her life and does all of the things that they planned to do together, like horseback riding on the beach and going to Coney Island.

2. Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet are beautiful people.

They are best friends in real life and I am just so in love with their relationship. They support each other in everything that they do. Even though I wish they were a couple, I appreciate their love and friendship that is absolutely beautiful.

3. Jack is the "King of the World" in so many aspects.

First of all, Jack is dashingly handsome and looks great in trousers and suspenders. Second of all, he has the best sidekick, Fabrizio, who is equally as handsome and has the cutest Italian accent. Lastly, he is able to get the girl without being rich (Jack is actually homeless).

4. Jack saves Rose from committing suicide.

Rose, distraught about her unfulfilling life, wants to purposely end her life (ironically) before the Titantic takes the lives of many aboard. Jack, in a charmingly heroic way, convinces her to not jump ship and to stay with him.

5. The most iconic line of all time.

Enough said.

6. Rose and Jack say each other's names a ridiculous amount of times and it's adorable.

Rose said Jack's name 80 times, whereas Jack said Rose's name 50 times. They just love each other so much!

7. Jack and Rose are reunited in heaven at the end of the movie because not even death could keep them apart.

I kind of feel bad for Rose's husband that she married after Jack died. Is he not in heaven watching Rose and Jack kiss? Nevertheless, Rose and Jack have a beautiful love that makes "Titantic" an irresistible movie for hopeless romantics like me.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
