Last May, NBC canceled "Timeless" breaking the hearts of history and science fiction fanatics who were already invested. The fans of the show took to social media to voice their opinions and not a full week later, NBC reversed the cancelation and announced season 2 for the spring of 2018.

Now whether this was a publicity stunt or not, you need to watch it this March. Here's why:

1. Time travel is basically the coolest and you know if it existed, you'd want to do it.

Ever since H.G. Wells popularized it in 1895, time travel has been a favorite fictional plot throughout literature, film, and television. Each story has their own rules for time travel in how it works. This show does not disappoint.

2. You'd be missing out on the most interesting history lesson of all time.

Before this show, I had no idea about H. H. Holmes and the murder castle. Now, the show may not be accurate enough to get you 100% on all history tests, it does help you learn new things.

3. The show has everything!

It has root-worthy love stories, unending drama, comic relief one-liners, forever mysteries, and binge-worthy action. What else does a show need? Matt Lanter? Yeah, it has that too.

4. The main characters are loveable.

You don't have to watch the show to understand how lovable these characters are. You just have to watch this gif over and over to understand.

5. And the plot twists are completely worth it.

Some can be predictable and some definitely leave you stumped. It's what keeps you wanting more!

6. There are so many layers that still need to be unraveled.

I won't spoil those layers for you, but I can tell you that you'll be missing out if you don't give it a chance now.

7. And our questions need to be answered before someone tries to cancel it again.

I am tired of great shows being canceled after one season. Take one for the team and watch it for those who really want a season 3.

8. Also, a show that has a fanbase that's able to change the masterminds of NBC must be worth a try, right?

Nowadays, fans have an even bigger say of what they want to watch. It's not just ratings anymore and it shouldn't be. Call it a publicity stunt because it probably was, but it doesn't change the fact that fans still got behind the show to demand what they wanted and won. Maybe networks will finally stop canceling shows that definitely deserved another season.

Go find season one and binge before the next season comes out March 11th at 10 PM on NBC. If you're not yet convinced, you will have to see for yourself. I promise you, it's worth it!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
