4 Reasons To Still Appreciate 'Boy Meets World' In 2017

4 Reasons To Still Appreciate 'Boy Meets World' In 2017

In case you forgot that "Boy Meets World" is one of the best TV shows of all time, I'm here to remind you specific reasons why that's the case:

1. Mr. Feeny

At first completely intimidating, but one of the greatest characters I have come to respect and treasure. He presents some of life's most valuable lessons to those around him. Even though it is a television show, I find myself thinking about Mr. George Feeny and the advice he gives to Mr. Matthews. He does not just teach the characters, but he teaches the viewers too. He encourages love, gratitude, respect, determination, and warmth. One of my favorite relationships in the show is his and Cory's. Their lessons, laughs, and friendship are some of the best I know. I started re watching the series, and he just cracks me up. He is pure goodness.

There is no greater aspiration than to have love in our lives.

This is my favorite quote of Mr. Feeny's in all of the show, it resonates.

2. The Matthews Family

Amy and Alan are precious. Eric is hysterical. Cory is amazing. Morgan is witty. Joshua is strong. Their house is always welcoming and full of love. Their kindness toward one another conveys the amazing characters they are. Each raised humbly, and I believe they embody that in all they do.

3. Cory and Shawn

Friendship. A brotherhood. From their earliest days, Cory and Shawn need and love each other so much. Their friendship is one to admire. Throughout the show, there are times of disagreement, but their caring for one another never wavers. Always have each other's best interest at heart.

4. Cory and Topanga

Love. They are one of my favorite OTPs of all time... Even in the earliest seasons, one can tell they are destined to be together. I think they knew too.
