6 Reasons You Should Probably Vote For Hillary Clinton

There are a lot of naysayers who think that Hillary Clinton wouldn't make a good president. Many of her critics have cited the Benghazi incident and her email scandal as evidence that she won't make a good leader. Bernie Sanders, fellow Democratic candidate hopeful even called her out recently, saying, ""With all the economic and political power that these banks have, I think you've got to break them up. That has always – that has been my view for a very, very long time. That is not Hillary Clinton's view." So there's a lot out there about why you shouldn't vote for Hillary.

But what about the reasons to vote for Hillary? There have to be some. My friend suggested that I write this article, even giving me a few suggestions, so thanks, Andrew! I hope this article is up to your ever high standards.

1. Her Pantsuits

If you've ever seen a picture of Clinton, you've surely seen her imfamous pantsuits. They may be a little out of date sometimes, but she rocks them nonetheless. Plenty of powerful women wear pantsuits: German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Leslie Knope, and Olivia Pope. Clinton is joining this pantheon of pantsuit wearing powerful women,

2. I want to know what Bill Clinton would be called.

Come on, tell me you haven't considered this at least once. Bill certainly can't be called "The First Lady." He doesn't act like a lady at all. Would they call him the First Gentleman? The President's Husband? The Dowager President? The possibilities are endless.

3. Endless Memes

Like Queen Elizabeth II of England and President Obama before her, Clinton could be turned into plenty of memes with at least four years of constant media coverage. If the Benghazi trial pictures are any indication, I'm sure Clinton will give us plenty of opportunities to meme her face.

4. "Because I said so."

This is every mom's catchphrase. Since she is a mom herself, would Clinton use this phrase as President while debating foreign policy?

Clinton: Alright, Mr. Putin. I’m going to ask you to move your troops back home.

Putin: Why?

Clinton: Because I said so.

Putin: Well, alright then.

5. Maybe we'll get cool Snapchats of the White House

She's already taken to Snapchat and her skills are getting less horrendous. Check out one of her earliest attempts:

6. This means at least four more years of Kate McKinnon's impressions of her!

And who doesn't want that.

While there may be a lot of trivial reasons to vote or not to vote for Hillary Clinton next November, I hope that you'll seriously consider each of the candidates, looking at their platforms and their stances on different topics before you make any decision. Try not to let the media sway you one way or another, because every media outlet has some kind of spin.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
