Everyone looks forward to Thanksgiving break. Being able to see your family and your pets, but most importantly, real food other than cup noodles. So what's the downside? The number of questions you honestly don't want to think about or answer. Here are 15 questions you probably absolutely hate.

1. "How's school going?"

I finally have a break please do not trigger me, I will cry.

2. "Did you look into majoring to be a nurse?"

I have said so many times I do not want to be a nurse, I go to art school they don't even have that major.

3. "Are you sure that's a smart major?"

Please just let me enjoy this food.

4. "How's your GPA doing?"

It's going downhill, just like my life. Are you happy now?

5. "What do you do over there? I bet you party all the time!"

I literally don't leave my bed and watch YouTubers have lives.

6. "How are your finances?"

I literally eat cup noodles almost every day how do you think it's going.

7. "What are your plans after college?"

I don't even know what I'm going to do next week.

8. "Are you seeing anyone?"

Don't remind people of their loneliness.

9. "When are you graduating?"

You guys ask me everytime you see me and it's the same every time.

10. "Have you been gaining some weight?"

All I can afford is junk food! I'm hurt but I'm still going to eat this food.

11. "Why are you sleeping so much?"

I'm up half the time writing papers. I sleep when I can and where I can.

12. "Is college really that hard?"

Please get away.

13. "How were midterms?"

I'm surprised I'm alive.

14."Did you miss us?"

My dog is the only thing I'm happy about.

15. "Are you ready to go back yet?"

Please don't make me go back.

Thanksgiving break is short, but you're closer to Christmas. Enjoy the food and don't let anyone ruin it. I know school is the last thing you want to be thinking about. You earned this break!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
