5 Benefits Of Having A Quality Website

You’ve been there, you know you have thought about this. You have contemplated whether you will invest in a quality website or not. For some, especially for the startup that are just, well, starting, having a quality website made is a big obstacle to their budget. When you are starting, being thrifty and smart about your expenses is necessary to make sure that you will not be like the other startups who just started but never lasted.

If having a quality website means you will have to spend a significant amount of money, wouldn’t that mean you’ll go bankrupt even before getting known?

Of course not. In your business, you always have to look at the pros and cons. If the pros of having a quality website outweighs the fact that you have to shell out money, then it is definitely a must.

Here are some benefit that overpowers the spending part:

It makes you visible.

Think of it this way, how many months do you think will people come to know about your business if you result to traditional means like flyers, manual ads and just word of mouth? A lot right? A quality website will get you out there, as soon as you launch your site.

It builds your brand.

You know how Coca-cola comes into your mind just by seeing something red with the same font? That is because Coca-cola’s brand has become well known that we can recognize it anywhere. A quality website will give you that.

It gives you authority.

Imagine having to give your clients a free email like gmail account. Wouldn’t it give you more authority if you gave out emails like name.yourbusinessname.com? It will give the customers the impression that you are willing to spend for your business and therefore will not shortchange them.

It creates another sales tool.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have somewhere to advertise your services? Instead of just having ads that are disposable, like a targeted Facebook post. After several months, how can your customers find a certain post? They might just go with the first one they see. Having a quality website will make them click, and bookmark your site so they can return.

It keeps you connected to your customers.

Having a quality website will make it easier for your customers to find you. You can also build an email list so you can target the audience that are really interested in your business and are most likely to purchase your services.

Now that you know the benefits of having a quality website, aren’t you excited to get one? Remember, a quality website is only expensive in the beginning. You will only have to shell out a certain amount at the beginning. After that, it will be able to save you a lot of money (and make you more!) in the long run.

Think of it this way, isn’t it better to have a quality website now and have somewhere to post all your advertisements and blogs? Than having to post them everywhere and spend time scouring for them when you decide to get a website?

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
