Hopefully, by now, we ALL know this past week has been MARVEL WEEK because "Avengers: Infinity War" has been released.

Photo above all drawn by yours truly. (Only took me two hours)

The official date was April 27thand some people see it the day before (kind of like me). If you haven't seen any of my social media or met me in person by now, then you have no idea just how BIG of a Marvel fan I am. Now I may not be the biggest Marvel fan out there, but that shouldn't matter! As long as we are with each other, "till the end of the line" (Captain America reference).

In preparation, a lot of people have been doing different things this week to get ready! Some are doing nothing, which is fine...And then others are repping gear, watching the past movies, looking for videos to explain everything up until now, and even hiding from social media to avoid spoilers (that's me).

Here are the movies in order from a website that has been deemed reliable, if you plan to be a part of this Marvel Universe (RECOMMENDED).

On Earth Day, April 22nd, my roommate and I got flowers for donating glass (always for a good cause!) and so I painted them! And how did I paint them you may be were wondering?? Marvel themed.

(The two bamboo plants on the sides are Baby Groot. Then Iron Man, Captain American and The Hulk)

Monday: My roommate and I represented Captain America. Always have to have the shield somewhere!

Tuesday: Started with Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy with Thor socks. I received a ton of pairs of Avenger socks from different people during the holidays. Always important to show their faces and symbols so people really know. Then back to some more Captain America with my AWESOME roommate.

Wednesday: An all-out Marvel shirt (Comic book style) and Hulk socks! My roommate rocked Rocket and Baby Groot! Getting closer to the day, the anticipation rises.

Thursday: Last but not least, the night before it officially comes out! Captain America and some Spiderman! Internally SCREAMING!

Post movie: Wow and what? This film and the actors in it have done a MARVELous job...That's all I can say. GO SEE IT!

Shoutout to the best roommate ever. She loves Marvel just as much as I do and transferring here this semester I was nervous, but it has been one of the best experiences yet! Thank you for being nerdy with me.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
