My little brother, John, has always liked to sing and dance. His taste in music is unique and varied, to say the least, so I've decided to share with you his favorite songs. These are the songs John requests on every road trip, the ones he plays around the house at high volumes, the ones the thinks everyone should hear.

1. "Wham Bam" by Silver

"That's my song for whenever I want to have fun."

2. "Come A Little Bit Closer" by Jay and the Americans

"I like the trumpet."

3. "Johnny B. Goode" by Chuck Berry

"First of all, Chuck Berry is one of the greatest musicians of all time. Also, I like the upbeat tempo."

4. "Home" by Phillip Phillips

"That's me and my friends' song about how we're always there for each other."

5. "Ooh Child" by The Five Stairsteps

"It reminds me that no matter how hard things are in life, things will always get easier."

6. "My Girl" by The Temptations

"It's just a sweet song."

"This song taught me that true friends will always stand by me."

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
