From the ground up,

We are supported by support.

The very ground we walk upon is

Cushioned by the fabric of clothing

Meant only to

Support us.

Our undergarments hold us in,

And our outergarments protect our skin and limbs.

In so many ways,

We are supported.

Vulnerability:

The thing that makes us human.

The very core of our humanity:

Our brain, heart, emotions, mentality.

What makes us human.

We have no support in these areas,

But the goal is to find that kind of support.

We search for it endlessly in friends, lovers, any kind of distractions.

Support, support, support, abort.

Abort the things that we cannot handle,

Abort the things that we cannot control,

Abort the things void of support.

Maybe, the thing we need to abort most,

Is the support we so dearly crave.

For life truly begins,

When our support caves.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
