Bucket list trips may sometimes feel impossible. They are often far away places with a ton of activities that you have always wanted to do. Those trips are obviously on your bucket list for a reason, but they don’t have to be something that seems unreachable! There are so many easy ways to plan your trip and check off everything you wanted to do!

1. Save a certain amount from each of your paychecks for your trip.

This may seem obvious, but make sure to put the savings somewhere that you don't have access to. This guarantees that you will have the funds to do everything that you planned to do and maybe even more!

2. Consider staying in a smaller town nearby.

Sometimes it can be cheaper to stay 20 minutes out from the area that you actually wanted to be in. This could actually be to your benefit in more ways than just financially! Those who live near the city you're visiting could tell you about places that you wouldn't come across online. You may also find some really great spots in the smaller town that adds so much more to your experience.

3. Travel with a friend.

While it's most likely the case that you were planning on traveling with someone anyway, traveling with your best friend to a new place will help create lasting memories.

4. Check cheap airlines.

You might have to sacrifice traveling in comfort to get where you need to be. Flights can be expensive but budget airlines get you there just as quick and put some of the money you spend normally spend on a flight back in your pocket. As someone who typically travels using budget airlines, I've been able to save money and do more than I planned on doing once I get to my destination.

5. Try to pack as light as possible.

Not only is it cheaper to bring one piece of luggage on a plane with you, it's also just way easier. You won't have to wait for your luggage at the carousel, and you can start checking things off of your list sooner. Traveling light also helps in making sure that you don't forget anything when you're leaving because you didn't bring a lot in the first place.

6. Find free activities to do!

Free activities can actually be really fun! They're usually something that a lot of locals attend rather than tourists anyway, so you may be able to meet a lot of great people.

7. Travel when the weather is expected to be nice.

Obviously, nice weather helps with general travel, but it's also just convenient. You can stay outside more, and you won't have to pack as much as you would have to if it was cold or rainy.

8. If you're traveling abroad, knock out two trips at one time.

If you're traveling in Europe, it could be cheaper and easier to go to multiple places during one trip. Flights between countries in Europe are short and cost less so you can really do more. It also makes your trip way more fun and exciting!

Traveling may seem difficult at first, but getting in the habit of saving and planning could really help you cross off everything on your list. You could even add many more trips in the future and continue to create amazing memories.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
