My Old Planet
Weston Sharpensteen
I'm too old for this planet, and too young to die. It's time for a new exploration. Time to break out of this box of repetition and boredom.
When I reminisce about my old planet, I remember the good and the bad. The aliens that became acquaintances, and the sights that I beheld. Unforgettable.
Will this expedition be treacherous? Absolutely. I'm not fully prepared. But I'll do my best, and make due if I need to. Every mistake made is a new lesson learned.
No more anxious of a feeling exists than that of anticipation. It's kicking in my veins. My bag is packed, the rocket is ready for blast off. Time to leave my old planet.
