5 Types Of People At An Ugly Christmas Sweater Party And What Their Sweaters Say About Them

'Tis the season for the joyous holidays of the year. More importantly, you need to be hype for holiday parties. But how creative do you think you are when you dress up for them? Let's see.

1.The Ugly Christmas Sweater

You must be basic-ally excited for the holidays. You came to the function just to blend in the holiday fits so you don't look like a sore thumb. At the ugly sweater party, all you want to do is to turn up and meet up with your buddies you haven't met since high school graduation. You're probably taking a picture of you and your friends in holiday sweaters for the gram.

2. The Ugly Christmas Skirt/Suit

You must be sick of wearing a Christmas sweater every year. Or you just want a little pep in your step from your lack of effort last year at the last ugly Christmas sweater party. Mainly, you just went through a personality makeover and you want to show your friends how pretty/handsome you've become since y'all parted ways. Then always get caught up flirting with a cute guy or gal at the party. Don't be afraid if you're a part of the hometown's main gossip after the night.

3. The Ugly Christmas Accessory

I mean Christmas is not your forte, but I get it. You don't want to be catcalled by the extra AF holidays people (read further to the next point, if you will) so you got your 'jingle bell jewelry' and call it an outfit. Or, you love the holidays, but lack the effort you would've put in an ugly Christmas sweater/outfit. You probably came to the party late so you could eat all of the food that NOBODY else had the chance to eat. Your selfish self needs to be on the naughty list.

People either call you excited for the holidays or would tell you to shut up with the holiday spirit. Otherwise, you really own the holiday season since you were out of the womb. You sing Christmas carols loud and proud, memorized left and right.

Your holiday freaks probably out-beat all of us in the ugly Christmas sweater contest every year with your light-up holiday sweaters and bottoms, shoes, and accessories adorned with ornaments. At the end of the day, you're always counting down the days to Christmas, all year long.

5. The Anti-Ugly Christmas Sweater

This is for the other extreme end. If you don't have a trace of the holidays in your outfit, not even the festive colors, you have no passion for the holidays. You don't care about celebrating Christmas, and you probably don't give a hoot about Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Three Kings Day, etc. either.

You're there to ruin the joyous moods of the party by starting beef with your ole girl at the door over a significant other, and end up fighting. Either way, you're probably the most hated person in the room and have no business to be at the party. We didn't invite you anyways. Bye, Grinch.

What are you wearing to the ugly Christmas sweater party?

The Post Thanksgiving Panic And Anxiety

It happens to all of us, the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas the catch up with you.

Thanksgiving Break is most likely everyone’s favorite break during the fall semester. You get to go home and reminisce with all your high school friends. That diet you’ve been on for the past month goes out the window, and you get to eat until you put yourself into a food coma. There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.

Grey's Anatomy

Even Shonda Rhimes, winning creator and executive producer of the hit TV shows Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, and The Catch agrees that relationships with fictional characters are real. In her book, The Year of Yes she states, "I have spent more time with Meredith and Christina then many of my actual friends...When you watched TV, even spending a full hour with Christina once a week, you were likely spending more time with her then you spent with most people in your life. That relationship was real."

Especially after starting college and having the stress and anxiety of tests, assignments, and just figuring out my future, the gym at my school has definitely been a place of relief for me and I have numerous reasons of why everyone should push themselves to get to the gym when they can.
