Who do you turn to when you feel overwhelmed?

Some schools only have a few weeks left until finals, this is the time when the projects and papers are due. We have pushed them off and now it is time to get them done. But now that you have waited to work on so many projects, it is a little more overwhelming than you imagined it would be. Add to that the stress of finals coming soon and anything else that might be happening in your life. Maybe you try to ease the stress with some ice cream or by procrastination. Either way, you probably only get temporary relief and then you feel the same chest crushing weight as before. What could you possible do to help ease this burden? I would suggest to you that their is someone that cares for you immensely and would love to be there with you to help you in your struggles. That someone is God. 1 Peter 5:7 says "cast all your anxiety on him, because he caress for you." God cares about you and everything you are dealing with right now. Here are some bible verses that show you who you can turn to when you are feeling overwhelmed.

Isaiah 61:2 "When my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I."

Psalm 18:30 "As for God, His way is perfect: the Lord's word is flawless; He shields all who take refuge in him."

Psalm 46:10 "Be still, and know that I am God."

Exodus 11:11 "The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still"

Matthew 28:20 "I am with you always."

Galatians 1:15 "Before I was born, God chose me and called me by His marvelous grace."

Psalm 91:4 "He will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge."

Remember that He will always be there for you!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
