Dear You,
Okay so maybe life isn't working out exactly how you want it to at the moment. Maybe right now you're feeling a little lost and you're not sure what to do. Well, here's the good news, its okay to not be okay! No... seriously, it is. You don't have to be "on" all the time.
To further explain, stop beating yourself up because you're feeling down. Whoever told you that you would always feel like that perfect 10 going out for a night on the town...well they lied to you. There are days when you do feel like that for sure! And you should aim to feel that confidence every second, but there are days where you just want to crawl in bed and lock away the world. If you feel that way, listen to your body. If you think it would be best to skip out on your friends get together and stay in to watch Disney movies instead... do it!!!
Sometimes you have to hit the bottom to gain the confidence to climb your way back up to the top. No matter what you're going through right now in this very moment, just know that it's okay to be upset. It's always okay to not feel like yourself for a little while. If you feel like nobody's on your side, stop and look around. I promise someone knows how you're feeling. If your love life sucks right now, take a couple days to veg out in bed. But then, get up and stop feeling sorry for yourself! Yes, it is okay to not feel okay, but not for long.
I don't know anyone who is the best version of themselves 24/7. Mostly because that perfection doesn't exist. And it doesn't exist because we are all individuals! Nobody would be special if we were this perfect version of ourselves.
Don't forget that you have every right to shy away from your true confident self for a little while, but never let it consume you. Figure out what makes you happy and just keep on doing it!
