1. Getting yourself to even begin

This is the hardest part. It really takes a lot of motivation. You have to dig deep, but once you start, it's all downhill from there.

2. Looking at the first question and realizing that you're completely screwed

I should just give up now, honestly.

3. Pulling up your internet browser to google the first question

Fingers crossed that we find the entire quiz on Quizlet.

4. AHA! Finding the answer on Quizlet

Is there a better feeling?!

5. Going back to the second question and realizing it's not in the Quizlet that you found

Dear Quizlet, could you please be faithful and have the entire quiz?!

6. Texting your in-class friend to see if they know any of the answers

They don't.That joke where one person answers 74, the other answers 76, and you answer Abe Lincoln? That's you and this friend. It doesn't help that you watch YouTube videos together during class.

7. BS-ing ALL of the answers

Just gotta get some words in the box. That's all.

8. Getting your grades back and acting surprised

But not really.

Now to figure out how to study if you want to improve a little bit on the next one.

9. Going to your professor's office to figure out what you messed up

They know full well that you're on your phone and/or typing on iMessage the entire time, but they suck it up and explain it to you anyway... Because it's their job.

10. Giving up completely and saying "I'll really go for it next semester"

I find myself saying this every semester. We'll get there sooner or later.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
