I’ve always been one of those people to be behind on television show fads. One Tree Hill was no exception. I started watching just a few months after the series finale, but thanks to Netflix I was able to watch all nine seasons. When I finally did start watching I fell in love and binge watched all the time. I even got my mom hooked. Throughout my time with the Tree Hill gang, I experienced many emotions. I fell in love, got my heart broken, got scared when a life was in danger, and really felt like I was one with this group, but unfortunately, it came to an end. There are too many times I fell in love through this series, but I’ve managed to narrow them down to once per season, which was a daunting task in itself.

1.When Nathan shows up at Haley’s door just hours after collapsing on the court during a basketball game.

"When I fell on the floor tonight, I was so scared. So terrified. Then I saw you and I promised myself if I could just get up and walk over to you, and tell you how much I need you. How much I want you, then nothing else matters" –Nathan Scott

2. When the gang decides to check out the new guy and go along with his “dare night.”

"It's called dare night. 1 night. 2 teams. Multiple dares. Each envelope contains a two-part dare" –Felix Tagarro

3. When Lucas runs out into the pouring rain to pour out his heart to Brooke. (Even though I’ve always been a huge fan of Lucas and Peyton!)

"Because you kink your eyebrow when you're trying to be cute. Because you quote Camus even though I've never actually seen you read. And because, you miss your parents, but you'll never ever admit that. And because I've given exactly two of these embarrassing speeches in my entire life and they've both been to you. I mean, that's gotta mean something right? And because we're both gonna get pneumonia, but if you need to hear why I love you, I can go on all night" –Lucas Scott

4. When the Ravens win the State Championship and Lucas realizes all his dreams are coming true.

“Hey, Peyton. It’s you. When all my dreams come true, the one I want next to me. It’s you, it’s you Peyton” –Lucas Scott

5. When Brooke takes care of baby Angie during the time of her surgery and realizes she’s meant to be a mom.

”I know this surgery is really scary, but I’m gonna be right here for you, every step of the way, okay? We’re gonna get through this together. Yeah and I know I’m not your real mom, but I could just use a sign or something to let me know I’m doing okay...Okay. It’s you and me, baby” –Brooke Davis

6. When Lucas and Peyton FINALLY get married and have the sweetest vows. (And then have their baby right after!)

”Lucas Scott. We’ve been through so much together and despite how confused I’ve been or lost I might have gotten, there was always you finding me and saving me. You deserve to be adored. So that’s what we’re gonna do, your baby and me. We’re going to adore you for years to come. I am so terribly in love with you, and I always will be.” –Peyton Sawyer Scott

7. When Haley takes Nathan and Jamie on the last leg of her tour and Jamie’s friends get to come see the last show.

“Life on the road was sweet. Living rock and roll city to city. One time the bus driver even let me drive!” –Jamie Scott

8. When Brooke Davis finally finds the man of her dreams and marries him. (I think this was a moment that made almost every OTH fan fall in love. Brooke had some bad relationships over the years and she was finally happy.)

“Brooke before I met you I thought my world had everything I needed to be happy. I had nothing else to compare to. Then you walked into my life and everything changed. I realized how empty my world was without you in it, and my old life was no longer capable of making me happy, not without you. I love everything about you Brooke, I love the way you challenge me like no one ever has, I love the way you look at me like no one ever has, and I love the way you love me like no one ever has. I can’t imagine spending my life without you, and if you say yes to me in a few minutes I won’t have to......You look beautiful by the way!” –Julian Baker

9. When the time jumps 5 years to Jamie playing basketball for Tree Hill High, and the group is (mostly) all together again.

“Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want, everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle is going to come from. The next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that it's right around the corner, and you open up your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you're wishing for. The world is full of magic. You just have to believe in it. So make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it, with all of your heart.” –Mouth McFadden, Millie Huxtable McFadden, Quinn James Evans, Clay Evans, Chase Adams, Chris Keller, Skills Taylor, Julian Baker, Brooke Davis Baker, Nathan Scott, and Haley James Scott

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
