Winter is beginning to die, spring not yet come; the cool breeze blowing against the trees; Grass dancing in the wind surrounding Space and Time as they lay upon the grass. The grass crunching beneath them; Space and Time are enjoying the privacy of Alex's backyard. The stars shining above. Holding hands, Time rests his head on Space's chest.

Space wraps his other arm around Time, pulling him closer to his torso. Space breaths heavily as though having Time next to him made everything better. Time rub his head gently in reassurance that he feels the same. They laid there, just enjoying the moment.

The best part was that its night before Valentines Day or it was supposed to be. Time's only hope was that they could go just a few more days, get past tomorrow, without fighting. Time was tired of fighting... Space just only hoped that Time wouldn't leave him like he almost did. Space blinks a few more times, trying not to tear up again. Space leans forward and presses his lips on Time's head and leaves them there for a few seconds.

Tonight wouldn't even be possible if it hadn't been for the fact that their best friend, Alex, had his parents go out of town. So he decided to call over Space, Time, and current his current girlfriend, Morrigan. They were all excited about spending the night before Valentines Day together, especially with all the stress Space and Time have been going through.

After Space and Time lay there for a few minutes, Alex comes outside carrying hot cocoa. He hands Space and Time their drinks and walks over to Morrigan, who sitting across from them watching the stars. He hands Morrigan her drink and sits down on the grass beside her, wrapping his arms around her. "I can't believe our luck. We get to spend the entire Valentine day together," Alex exclaims as he buries his face in Morrigan's hair.

Time lifts his head and his body up on his arms, carefully not to push down too hard on Space. Time smiles at Space. He smiles back, slightly sad. Time sees the sadness in his eyes and kisses Space's lips gently for a second then lays back on his elbows. "I'm just happy to be able to be here right now, at this moment," Space exclaims, smiling. "With you," Space whispers to Time. Time blushes and lays his head back down on Space's chest.

Space sits up slightly and Time does the same, surprised. Space smiles as he places a hand on Time's cheek and leans forward to kiss him. Time wraps his arms around Space's neck as they roll onto the grass; Space on top. Time puts his legs around Space and kisses him deeply. Alex and Morrigan lie back in the grass and watch as stars shoot overhead. Alex turns towards Morrigan and plays with her hair. Morrigan looks into Alex's eyes as she leans forward and kisses his forehead. Alex closes his eyes. Morrigan lays back down and snuggles into Alex's side.

Time, Space, Alex, and Morrigan lay on the cool grass till midnight before going inside, grabbing blankets and pillows, and get ready for bed in the living room. Space and Time cuddle up on one side of the couch, Alex and Morrigan snuggling on the other side. Space gives him a kiss goodnight at the same time that Alex kisses Morrigan.

They finally fall asleep after a couple of minutes. The alarm goes off at 6 am. Space and Time are the first to wake. They sneak upstairs Alex's room. Time smiles as he starts to close the door quietly. Space pulls time up to him and kisses him gently. They take off their shirts and lay on the bed.

The fan blows Time's hair in his face. Space lefts up on his elbow and brushes Time's hair out of his eyes gently, resting his hand on Time's cheek. Time lifts his face till his lips meet Spaces. Time clings to Space and rolls over onto him. Space laughs beneath Time's lips.

Downstairs Alex and Morrigan are slowly waking up. Alex sits up and pulls Morrigan into his lap. Morrigan places her knees on the outsides of Alex's thighs. Morrigan shows her naughty smiles, making Alex laughs as Morrigan kiss him. Alex wraps his hands around Morrigan's waist as she slips off her shirt. Morrigan kisses his. cheek, down the jawline, down his neck, onto his shoulders as Alex leans his head back. Alex takes off his shirt as he lays Morrigan on her back. Alex kisses Morrigan's lips, her cheek, jaw, neck, down to her stomach. Morrigan sits up and pulls Alex to her mouth.

Alex slightly pulls away, "we need to get ready for school," Alex exclaims, out of breath. Morrigan nods as she gets up. Alex grabs her hand as she stands up and kisses her on the cheek before going to up to the room. Alex knocks on the door. Space and Time freeze. "Its just me," Alex assures them. They sigh in relief. "Give us 5 more minutes," Time replies lifting his head slightly as Space kisses his neck.

Time sits up, pulling the blanket with him. Space snuggles up beside him, resting his head on Times lap. Time plays with Space's hair as Space closes his eyes. "We have to get up and get ready," Time says as a tear runs down his cheek. Space sits up and kisses his tear, "Don't cry. We have forever, together." Space says, taking Time's hand and placing it over his heart. Time smiles and gets up. Space stands behind Time, pressing himself up against Time, and kisses his neck. "Stop," Time giggles as he grabs his pants and starts putting them on.

Space grabs Time's waist and tickles him. "Stop it, "Time laughs as he bends over and hands Space his pants. Space puts on his pants and slips on his shirt as Time puts his on. Space sits on the bed and pulls Time towards him. "You don't know how sexy you look in that shirt, "Space whispers in his ear. Time smiles as he wraps his arms around Space's neck and kisses him. "You don't know how hot you make me feel, "Time whispers against his lips. Space kisses Time hard as he places his hands on his waist.

Alex knocks on the door again, "Your 5 minutes is up." Time grabs Space's hand and pulls him out the door.

Alex smiles as they walk out. He looks over at his bed, "Really? you had to get under the covers? now I have to wash my sheets, again," Alex teases. Space throws a pair of boxer briefs at Alex, laughing. Alex throws it back as he closes the door to can get ready for school.

As Time and Spacewalk downstairs, Morrigan rushes to put her clothes on in the bathroom. Morrigan waits at the door for Alex. Time and Space sit on the bottom of the stairs as they stare into each other's eyes, talking about their plans. Alex runs downstairs, dressed, and almost trips over the guys. Space catches her as she starts laughing.

Morrigan comes around the corner. Alex walks over towards her, grabs her hand and pulls her close to him. "I forgot something," Alex says as she kisses Morrigan's cheek. "I love you," she whispers. "I love you too," Morrigan replies. Alex embraces Morrigan before heading out to the car. Time and Space follow, holding hands. When they arrive at school they spend one last moment holding hands before having to go inside. Posters were on the doors for the Valentine Dance that the following night.

Alex gives Morrigan a long hug before walking inside as Space and Time holds hands while looking into each other's eyes before following Alex and Morrigan. Throughout the day couples hugged and walked through the walls holding hands while Space, Time, Alex, and Morrigan just walked silently through the halls walking to classes. At lunch, they all sat at the same table and talked about their plans after the dance.

When suddenly Space jumps up, remembering something. "Alex, come with me out to the hallway," Alex follows Space out into the hallway. "What?" Alex asks, freaking out.

Space lets out a breath, "I forgot to buy Time's gift..."

"How could you forget??"

"I was so busy thinking about Time that I forgot his gift and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to because of my parents..."Space says sadly.

----

Meanwhile, in the cafeteria, Time is sitting with Morrigan talking. "I forgot to buy Space's gift..." Time said with a tear in his eye.

"Aww," Morrigan says, resting her hand on Time's. "I understand but we don't have much Time till today is over... you could go to the store with me after school real quick to grab a meaningful gift." Morrigan looks at Time, trying to come up with an idea. When suddenly it comes to her. She hands Time her milk, "Drink it and follow my lead. Hurry." Time chugs the milk and begins to feel sick.

"Time is going to be sick!" Morrigan yells as someone runs over with a trash can. They make it just in Time right as Alex and Space walk back inside and rush over.

"What happened??" Space asks. Morrigan whispers to Alex what happened really fast.

"Time just got sick," Morrigan says as she secretly tosses her milk in the trash. A teacher walks over asking how Time is. "He just got sick and he has a fever. I can take him home. His parents are out of town and he's staying with me anyway," Morrigan explains. The teacher nods and tells Morrigan to hurry. Alex and Space follow Time and Morrigan to Alex's car.

"Feel better," Space says, kissing Time's forehead. Alex hugs Morrigan goodbye and wishes her luck.

"Well see you both at the dance right?" Space asks, worried.

"Of course," Time says and hugs Space as he climbs into Alex's car.

"I'll pick you both up after I drop Time off," Morrigan says, closing the car door.

"Hurry back," Alex says, waving as they pull away. Space stares at his feet sadly as Alex places a hand on his arm and pulls him inside. "Don't worry, well see them at the dance," Alex comforts him. Space allows Alex to pull him back to the school. Space and Alex go back to their table and finish their lunch before heading to class.

Meanwhile, Morrigan and Time are driving toward the mall. Time is laying down in the back seat, trying to calm his stomach. "That wasn't cool, Morrigan." Time says as he lightly punches Morrigan's arm.

"I had to," Morrigan says. "We don't have enough Time and we needed to get out quick." Morrigan turns into the mall parking lot. She finds a spot close to the doors. They climb out of the car and walk inside. They walk around the mall going in and out of shops. After about half an hour they come upon a jewelry store that they decided to go in and check out.

They walked around for a little while when suddenly Time came upon this rectangular, necklace that looked like a dog tag but it had a rainbow heart in the center. Time knew it was the perfect gift. He walked over to the cashier and asked if he could get it personalized. The cashier said yes and Time asked if it could say "Time + Space." The cashier took the necklace to the back of the shop and brought it back personalized and handed it to Time. Time paid the cashier and he and Morrigan went back out to the car. Time showed Morrigan the necklace.

"It's perfect," Morrigan exclaimed as she drove Time back to Alex's house and dropped him off before heading back to school. By the Time Morrigan got back to school was out and Alex was sitting on the steps away from the crowd with Space. Morrigan drove over towards them and hopped out.

"Where's Time?" Space asks, worried.

"I dropped him off at the house. He'll be fine." Morrigan reassured him. Alex gave Morrigan a hug before they all got into the car, Alex driving this Time.

Alex drove by her house and dropped Morrigan off, "We have to run a quick errand and we'll be back."

Morrigan nodded and waved goodbye before heading inside. Alex and Space drove to the mall. The found a parking spot and climbed out. They walked into the mall and started going through different stores. After a couple of stores, they came upon a jewelry store. They went inside and looked around.

After a couple of minutes, Space spots something shiny with a hint of the rainbow out of the corner of his eye. He walks over to check it out. It's a rectangular necklace that looks like a dog tag but it also has a rainbow heart in the center. Space knew this was the perfect gift. He asked the cashier if he could get it personalized to say "Space + Time." The cashier goes to the back of the store to get it personalized then brings it back to Space as Space gets out the money to pay for it.

Space shows Alex the necklace as the climb into her car. Space puts the gift in a small bag the cashier gave him with the necklace. Alex gets a text from her parents saying that they won't be home for a few more hours and to have fun at the dance.

"It's perfect," Alex smiles, pulling out and heading back to her house. When they arrive Space slips the bag into his backpack as they climbed out of the car. Morrigan opens the door to let them in. Space walks into the living room and sits beside Time on the couch, putting his arm around his shoulders. Morrigan grabs the TV remote as Alex sits on the couch. Morrigan sits beside her and rests her head on Alex's lap.

Alex plays with Morrigan's hair, "So we got about an hour until the dance and were not even ready," Alex says. Morrigan just shrugs her shoulders and gets up and says she'll be right back. Morrigan goes up the stairs to the bathroom just as Time and Space kiss. Alex pretends to gag and one of them throws a pillow at her. They start throwing pillows back and forth.

After about a few throws Morrigan comes back downstairs. Alex tosses a pillow to her and watches as Morrigan throws it right into Space's face, laughing. Space growls and picks Morrigan up and puts her on the couch. Everyone laughs and sits down. Alex turns on the TV.

About half an hour later they start getting ready. Morrigan is first to get ready. Her outfit simple. A black dress, her hair down, and flip-flops. Morrigan waits downstairs just as Alex comes downstairs in a silk red dress that dips down her back, her hair in a bun. Alex blushes as Morrigan smiles at her.

Space and Time come down at the same Time. Their white undershirts tucked in, their red tux nicely shined their black ties nicely straight, and their black pants clean. As they walk downstairs holding hands with huge grins on their face, Alex and Morrigan laugh at them. Space grabs the gift bag and puts it in his pocket when know ones looking. Alex catches Time patting his pocket to make sure Space's gifts in there and smiles. They all quickly climb into the car and head towards the school. When they arrive the parking lot is full so it takes Alex a while to find a spot.

After driving around for a while Alex finds a spot in the middle. They all climb out, Time and Space holding hands as they walk towards the door, forget where they were. Morrigan and Alex follow in behind. They walk through the front doors and into the cafeteria. Someone notices Time and Space.

Before they had a chance to drop hands, remembering where they were, everyone was looking at them or at least it felt like it. One of their friends, Liz, walked up to Space and Time. She took their hand and placed them in each other. "Don't hide," She says before dropping their attached hands and walking away to join Nick. Morrigan and Alex give them a thumb up as they walk hand-in-hand towards the refreshment table.

Music begins to play, a slow song. What a perfect way to start out the night. Space squeezes Time's hand as they walk out onto the dance floor. Only a few people watch silently as they walk together. As Space and Time reach the center, everyone is swaying back and forth. Time blushes as he wraps his arms around Space's neck and they begin to sway. Morrigan and Alex join the dancing as they stand beside Space and Time, intertwined.

The song only lasts a few minutes but it feels like forever. When the song is over Space, Time, Morrigan, and Alex stepped off the dance floor and got refreshments. After a few hours of dancing, it's 11:58.

Alex pulls Morrigan over to the side of the room. Space and Time watch as Alex get on one knee and presents Morrigan with a single black Alex that she brought with her. Morrigan wrapped her arms around Alex's neck and Alex wrapped her arms around Morrigan as she spun her around the room. Alex sets Morrigan down and kisses her gently. Alex holds Morrigan in her arms for a while.

Space gently pulls Time to the other side of the room as Alex and Morrigan go back to the dance floor. Alex and Morrigan notice Space and Time. They secretly watch them. Space reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small bag at the same Time Time does. They both smile as they exchange bag.

"Open yours first," Space asks politely. Space smiles as Time open the bag and pull out the necklace. Time laughs. "What's wrong?" Space asks, worried. Time just smiles, "Open yours and you will see." Worriedly Space opens his bag and pulls out another necklace. Space smiles as he flips it over, "Time + Space" it reads. Alex and Morrigan see the necklaces and laugh.

"Flip yours," Space chuckles. Time read the back of the necklace "Space + Time". Time smiles, tears form in his eyes.

"It's perfect," Time says, hugging Space. Alex and Morrigan clap for their friends.

"No, it's not," Space replies, "you are." Space puts on his necklace as Time puts on his. Space kisses Time's forehead as he takes his hand and leads him onto the dance floor. Space pulls Time close to him as the stand beside Alex and Morrigan. Time stares into Space's eyes as he wraps his arms around Space's neck, Space staring back. The sweet sound of music in the air. Secrets exposed, not a care in the world. Space's smiles at Time, his arms around Time's waist. Friends around them intertwined in the dancing.

"I love you," Space whispers and he pulls Time closer, making him smile.

Time kisses him and whispers "I love you too," against his lips. Space pulls back and rests his forehead against Time's and stares into his eyes as they sway back and forth with the music. "Forever and always," Space whispers with a smile.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

135221

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
