Ar-Rasheed has continued to break barriers time and time again which he has then "drew a map" for others in his community to follow. From beginning his life in poverty to now working with brands and other entrepreneurs to help them clearly define, establish and reach their goals. He is now working in tech, while running his consulting company, as well as running a company in the e-commerce space.

After establishing his consulting company in 2018, New Life Credit consultants, the company has grown to help clients in over 22 states in the country. Going into the fourth year of the company's operation, NLCC has a staff and team who are built on success and "the personalized experience" given to consumers. They have countless success stories of clients who've completed their program and have gotten approved for high limit credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, personal loans and even business start-up capital loans. Ar-Rasheed has even begun enterprising by partnering with many realtors, mortgage loan officers and car dealerships to help grow the clientele. He also published a full-length book that talked all about credit and some of the ways to understand and manage it. The book is called "Mastering Credit" and is available on Amazon Kindle.

During the summer of 2020, amid the pandemic, Ar-Rasheed's company even grew to the point where he was able to leave his job to take on his company full-time. This newfound time gave him the chance to pick up a new skill, he was able to learn how e-commerce worked at a high level. "Most people want to be successful, but they never want to take the time to find a mentor. Luckily, I had the help of the Shapeshifter Academy (IG: @shapeshifteracademy) to guide me, " he explained to us. This skill gave him a chance to start to open up his world a little more through more capital. Today, Ar-Rasheed found a way to learn more about the world that is changing right around us by now working with a software company. His knowledge that he gained from running the company, mixed with the understanding of e-commerce, along with now learning more about the technology that will shape the world is truly helping him stand out. "People that come from where I come from are told to become athletes, entertainers or learn a prisoner number. My goal is to inspire as many people that look like I do to know that those three options aren't all that's out there for us. In the year 2022, I really see my brand and companies taking another leap and really helping those around me. I could cry just thinking about the change that I'm hoping to create."
