7 'New Girl' Quotes That Accurately Explain Quarantine

"New Girl" is known for its funny quips and hilarious comebacks that a lot of us can relate to, but let's see which ones best explain life in quarantine - maybe it will give you some good episodes to go and re-watch.

1. Season 3 Episode 7

Jess: "Nick doesn't have a life plan. He doesn't have a day plan. I once found a note that he wrote to himself that said, 'Put on pants.'"

We all have been struggling to get ourselves out of bed just to go do work in another room but having pants as an option every single day definitely makes the effort of putting them on a lot harder. We feel you, Nick, we feel you.

2. Season 3 Episode 1

Jess: "How many times a day does Schmidt text you?"
Nick: "Oh, no, just like...40."

Let's face it, we've all been doing a lot more texting. After two weeks in the house and seeing the same few people everyday, you tend to text people more... a lot more.

3. Season 2 Episode 21

Nick: "Schmidt, I have to ask you a favor. It's about my clothes."
Schmidt: "Burn them! Burn them all!"

Chances are this will be your mother or father when you come home from the store. They'll want to torch your clothes in case of contamination. In the way Schmidt's talking, though, there's bound to be that one person that will take this time as an opportunity to tell you that you really need to go through your wardrobe and get rid of a lot.

4. Season 2 Episode 16

Jess: "I just wanted to listen to Taylor Swift alone!"

Sometimes you just want your own space, but how exactly can you get that when you can't leave the house to go anywhere? People who live with younger siblings or in-your-business parents are going to relate to this quote a lot. When everyone is bored, privacy just isn't a reality for some people in quarantine.

5. Season 2 Episode 9

Jess: "You care about burritos more than my children?"
Nick: "You're putting me in a tough spot right now!"

Chances are, there is one person in your house who refuses to let anyone out of the house for anything except for absolute dire necessities, and then there is another person who really just wants to go get a burrito. Think of the children, Nick, don't risk infecting the children!

6. Season 1 Episode 20

Jess: "One, two, three, four... JFK!"
Everyone: "FDR!"

Everyone is probably playing their own drinking games during this quarantine, but if you're playing True American, I'm sure your house is having a blast. Just make sure you're all stocked up on Tylenol for the next day.

7. Season 1 Episode 22

Schmidt: "You like me? You like my personality?"
CeCe: "I was surprised too."

Those workaholics who are never home are sure to relate to this. Chances are that quite a few people are not used to not having their own time or their own space at home. The walls feel smaller and smaller everyday, so if we all come out of this liking one another a lot, it's sure to be a big surprise.

Quarantine will hopefully be over soon, but until then, enjoy the crazy moments - maybe they'll be funny bits you can tell your kids someday. And if you're bored, re-watch "New Girl" for the 40th time, and if you haven't watched it, get off of here and go watch it.... hurry up.... no, seriously, you won't regret it - it's great. Go watch it.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
