"So You Think You Can Dance," set up like every other reality competition show out there, consists of multiple rounds of auditions in cities all over the U.S. They choose the best dancers from every city to compete in the next round. So on and so forth. Last season, season 12, the dancers were put on one of two teams. These teams were "stage" and "street." The dancers in the stage categories were trained in areas such as ballet, contemporary, tap and jazz. The dancers in the street category were trained in hip hop. The stage and street teams would face off each week and the "weakest" dancer from each team would be eliminated. Some SYTYCD fans were fond of this idea and some were less than thrilled.

"So You Think You Can Dance" is back for a 13th season, and boy are they in for some feedback. This upcoming season will be for a new age range. An age range that we have never seen on reality competition shows such as this. The competitors this season will range from ages 8-13, and they will be paired up with star dancers. Whether these star dancers are previous winners of SYTYCD or not has yet to have been released. Cat Deely is slated to return as the host, and as far as the judges go, Lythgoe, Abdul and Derulo are all in it for the long haul.

Many competitive dancers can already predict how this season is going to go. It is being predicted by dancers everywhere that this season is going to be pretty similar to every dance competition that they have entered in the past. It is obviously going to be chock-full of tiny, talented girls doing 52 pirouettes in a row. This seems pretty similar to the "junior" category of any average dance competition. Should we be expecting the Zieglers, Sophia Lucia, etc? Other viewers of the show feel like the show has been going downhill since "Stage v. Street," and the departure of Mandy Murphy. One opinion, of many, is that if you're looking to see 8-13-year-old girls compete in a dance competition that you should just watch Dance Moms. Some people are extremely excited for the new twist on the show. Your opinion really depends on what you are looking for in the show.

"So You Think You Can Dance" season 13 will air on May 30, 2016. Auditions will begin on Feb. 27 in none other than the talent-filled city of Los Angeles. Stay tuned to determine whether this season of "So You Think You Can Dance" will be a hit or a miss.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
