Hello, soda/pop lovers, whatever you like to call it. I have been a fan of Diet Coke for as long as I remember, so when I heard about the latest flavors, of course, I tried them all and here's what I thought. Now first of all the sleek looking cans are great but what really matters is the bubbly tastes inside.

Zesty Blood Orange:

After looking at the name of this flavor I thought I would not like it at all. It sounded like it would be a combination of orange soda and diet Coke, two flavors that I would not put together. However, This flavor was by far my favorite. It was tangy, fruity, and fun. I suggest pairing it with your lunch or just enjoying it mid-afternoon to wake up a bit.

Twisted Mango:

This flavor is truly original. The name reminded me of a tropical vacation and the tastes were not far from it. This would be my second choice of flavor for the new Diet Coke line. It was refreshing, popping, and a bit eccentric but full of mango-ness and deliciousness of course. I had this flavor as breakfast one morning which I do not exactly recommend but true Diet Coke lovers will drink it at all hours.

Ginger Lime:

Now ginger lime sounded great as a flavor at first but my tastebuds strongly disagreed. Ginger and lime just do not mix in my point of view. Gingerale is a great drink, and so is lemon-lime soda, but combined with the classic Diet Coke it just becomes a bit watered down.

Feisty Cherry:

I have never been a fan of cherry flavored well... anything. It personally reminds me of cough syrup. So, basically, this flavor was off my radar and a bit too original to take interest in it. I suggest trying one of the other more creative flavors!

To anyone looking to shake up their day or brighten up a meal, I strongly suggest pairing it with one of the newest Diet Coke flavors. I am sure you will not be disappointed by the bubbly goodness.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
