You're Never Too Old for Harry Potter

I don't really think a love for Harry Potter has to end at a certain age.

You're Never Too Old for Harry Potter

For some reason, I have always liked Harry Potter.

My twin brother was more into it than I was when we were kids, but I have loved it so much more for about two years now.

This is because I had only watched the movies since I was about six years old until about two years ago. Then, I had a strong interest in reading the books, so that I could understand the plot lines better and call myself a "true" Harry Potter fan.

I instantly fell in love with the first book. I couldn't keep it down, and I was right- it helped me understand the story so much better.

Then I had to get the second book, the third book, the fourth book, the fifth book, the sixth book, and the seventh book.

It took me about ten months to read all seven books. I LOVED them. I instantly became a more true fan, and I understood Harry Potter so much better and the story was so fascinating to me.

In the past year or two, I have had my parents say, "aren't you too old to be reading Harry Potter?" But my mom was reading the books when they came out around 2000.

Since completing reading the books about nine months ago, I have joined an official Harry Potter Fans group page on Facebook, and I have also downloaded the mobile Harry Potter Mystery Game.

Through the Harry Potter fans group page, I have talked to two different people through messenger and have bonded over Harry Potter. One of them is only two years younger than me- her name is Aurora and she is from Italy. We plan on meeting one day because I went to Italy a few weeks ago and I plan on going back somewhat soon for longer.

On this group page, Harry Potter fans range from the ages of 14-80.

When I went to Italy a few weeks ago, an Italian man of about 30 overheard me talking about meeting my Italian Harry Potter friend Aurora, and told me I was too old to be watching Harry Potter... some nerve, eh?

In my opinion, you're never too old for imagination and magic.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
