Every girl wants her own Chuck Bass, however, I was always more head over heels for Nate. He was kindhearted, dreamy, knew how to treat a girl, and just so darn charming. I fell in love with Nate during the first season and continued to fall for him until the end of the show.

These are all the reasons Nate was actually the best catch on "Gossip Girl":

1. His loyalty.

Nate was consistently loyal to Chuck, Serena, Blair, and all of his friends. No matter what Chuck did wrong, Nate stuck by his side. Nate even helped Serena despite all the mistakes she made (especially after the whole Pete Fairman scandal). Furthermore, Serena and Blair were his exes, but he remained a faithful friend to both of them.

2. He’s always ready to fall in love.

I honestly felt bad for him. He always seemed to date the wrong women. Especially Diana and definitely Serena. He would have done anything for Serena, but she was madly in love with Dan. It was basically a huge mess, and poor Nate got stuck in the middle. He gave Serena endless opportunities because he was hopelessly in love with her.

3. He wanted to be a self-made man.

This was one of the best qualities Nate had. That’s what set him apart. He was the only GG character that did not rely on his wealth to succeed. In fact, every time his grandfather tried to help him, he refused. The fact that he wanted to make it on his own was very admirable.

4. His charm.

He knew how to treat a woman. He was respectful and kind. Nate knew exactly how to be a good boyfriend to every girl he was in a relationship with throughout the show.

5. His eyes.

I don’t think I need to say anything else. I’m in love.
