Picking a nail color can quite honestly feel like the most important decision of your life… for about two weeks until the color chips and you have to do it all over again. I look for cute nail designs and color inspiration because c’mon, who else feels like they have their entire life together when their nails are done? With a fresh set of nails, I feel like the unstoppable bad bitch that I am.

1. Baby pink

This is currently what’s on my nails. I love it so much because it’s simple with a pop of color. It feels clean and classy

2. Matte black

I think this look is SO cool! I've always wanted to do it.

3. One different colored finger

Typically, the ring finger is the different colored one, but I’ve seen looks that have the index finger or the middle finger has a different color. In reality, it can be any finger you want!

4. A glossy nude

Ugh. My go – to. I love a good nude color, whether it be a nude lipstick or a nude nail polish. It goes with every look and still makes your nails look stunning!

5. A glittery champagne

I. Love. Glitter. This look can be really unique for any event that you have, whether it be a formal or even New Year's Eve!

6. Classic red

Timeless. Classy. Need I say more?

7. Chrome

This is a newer nail trend that I’ve seen on social media recently but it looks so badass. If you can find a nail salon that can do this, I think it’s worth a try!

8. Marble

Ugh, the ultimate aesthetic. Marble phone cases, laptop cases, and a matching set of marble nails. I’m not sure how exactly people accomplish this look on their nails, but it sure does look cool!

9. Simple white

Personally, I like this color on my nails because I'm super fair-skinned, and this cobalt white makes me look like I've got a small tan going on, and I dig the summer sun.

10. Ombré

This is more of a look that you can achieve yourself, instead of going to a salon. I’ve tried this before with a cosmetic sponge and then stamping it onto my nails. It turned out pretty sweet!

11. Olive green

I tried this color for the first time around Thanksgiving time and I was in love the second my nails were dry. It’s such a different color that people usually wouldn’t think about putting on their fingernails but it was honestly one of my favorite colors that I’ve ever chosen!

At the end of the day, they are just fingernails. While it may not matter to the rest of the world what your nails look like, it matters to you. Having painted nails is such a simple way to feel dressed up, and boost your confidence. Because c’mon, who else feels like they have their entire life together when their nails are done? I know I do. Which reminds me, I need to make my next appointment. Treat yo-self.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
