Let's set the scene: you're sitting in the movie theater, you can smell the popcorn in the air, you've got your drinks and candy ready... and then "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" begins on the screen.
20 minutes later, the short ends. Did you love it? Did you hate it?
A lot of people are somehow furious at a scheduled short designed to make children and it's viewers happy. Every Pixar film begins with a Disney short so it was common knowledge that there would be a short before the newest Disney Pixar film "Coco. "However, people are losing their minds everywhere over this specific short, "Olaf's Frozen Adventure. "Some say it was the longest 20 minutes of their life and that they did not sign up for "Frozen" to be shoved down their throats once again when they purchased their tickets to see "Coco. "Some have opted out of seeing "Coco "at all because they can't stand to sit through a 20 minute short. People are taking to Facebook and other formats on the internet to express their rage and hatred of a child's short film.
The sheer fact that grown adults are getting this upset over a children's short blows my mind. Sure this particular short was longer than average however, it was not torture to watch by any means. This short was cute and heartwarming, and there were an adorable dog and kittens, who doesn't love puppies and kittens?
This short also had a heartwarming message about family and traditions which was the perfect lead into "Coco" which is also about a family and their deep-rooted traditions. Overall, I thought "Olaf's Frozen Adventure" AND "Coco,"both were incredible.
