If you live in the Lexington area and can't decide on where to eat, well look no further! Out of all the restaurants I have ate at since moving here a couple years ago, I have narrowed my list down to three. When I moved to Lexington, it really had me expand my food choices since I was so unfamiliar with some of the restaurants around here. My top three picks are all different categories of food so if you aren't hungry for one thing, then you still have two more options to choose from. I hope you're hungry.

Dad's Favorites Deli

I am starting my top three choices off with my absolute favorite place to eat. Dad's Favorites Deli is unlike many other sandwich shops because here, all the cheese spreads are homemade. There are a total of seven cheese spreads that are offered here and each have their own sandwich. Don't worry, if you think you won't like a certain cheese spread on your sandwich, you can swap it out with another one! Dad's Favorites Deli has two locations, one is off of Lane Allen Road and the other is at Blue Stallion Brewing Company.

This is the first restaurant I went to when moving to Lexington and it most definitely do not disappoint. This pizza place is perfect for any crowd, small or large, and makes you feel like you are in an actual pizza parlor when dining in. There is a list of already customized pizzas and all are delicious. My favorite of them all is by far the Chicken Gouda. I am already drooling.

Sakura

Many might already know of this sushi place, but for those of you who do not, you need to check this place out as soon as possible. This is not a really high-in place to eat, but if you are looking for some good Japanese food, you have come to the right place. I have never had a better Crab Rangoon than when I ate at this place. It is almost like a dessert it is so sweet and delicious. Looking past their sushi, Sakura also has hibachi and other meat entrees to offer. There are several different locations which makes getting there less of a hassle.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
