My June Favorites

July is right around the corner so I thought I would show my favorite products I used in June.

My June Favorites

This quarantine has fueled my online shopping like nothing before. With nothing to do, I had a lot of time to shop for clothes and try out a lot of new beauty products. I have heard about some of these products from social media such as Tik Tok and just from my own browsing. And considering the stores are slowly opening back up again I thought what better way to celebrate that by showing my favorite things this month. So here it is.

Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara

If you're a fan of the bachelor than you know that Madi Prewett uses this mascara. I personally loved her lashes and I have heard about this mascara for a while. I have short lashes and I have never really found a go-to mascara. So after hearing about this I caved. I think it's a great product and it has helped my lashes look longer. So I would recommend it.

Old Navy Workout Leggings

Whether or not you workout or you just wear them around workout leggings are so comfortable. Old Navy has some amazing workout leggings. I have their high rise leggings and they have pockets in them! Which is something you wouldn't think you need but it's actually so convenient. I specify fitness leggings because I haven't tried their regular leggings. But their fitness leggings are so reasonably priced and good quality. I have so many colors it's bad.

CeraVe AM Moisturizing Lotion

Sunblock is so important especially during the summer. I have to say I never wear sunblock and usually never on my face. But using it will help you in the long run. I have pretty sensitive skin and it's always been so hard for me to find skincare products that help my face. But I saw this lotion multiple times on TikTok and just figured why not. It does make me break out a bit but sunscreen does that to me no matter what. But it has clean ingredients and does help. I also think me breaking out has to do with it being a new product. But overall it's good and I will buy it again.

Cerave Foaming Cleanser Face Wash

Since I am already talking about skincare I figured I would talk about my new favorite cleanser. I previously used Cetaphil sensitive skin cleanser. It's a good cleanser but I thought it was time for a change. I have heard so many great things about the CeraVe line. I bought this cleanser before June and it seems to do good for my skin.

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

Like I've stated before I have pretty sensitive skin so foundation no matter what usually makes me break out. But BB Cream has saved me, especially in the summer. It's summer and I for one don't like wearing makeup often in the summer. So I try and switch foundation out to BB Cream or tinted moisturizer. This Maybelline one stays on well and doesn't crease. It's lightweight and a bonus is that is doesn't make me break out.

I have tried a lot of other things lately but I found myself loving these products the most. I can't wait to go shopping soon and find some more products to try and write about in July.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
