To My Dearest Little,

It's here. Initiation. It seems like just yesterday I had seen your face for the first time. People who don't believe in love at first sight have never seen a girl meet her little. From the moment I met you, I knew you had to be mine. When you joined my sorority, you joined my family. You became a sister, and on big-little reveal day you became MY sister. You weren't just A sister. You were MINE. From that moment on, nothing could take away any love I had for you and it just grows more and more each day. The responsibility and love I feel for you is so immense. I feel responsible to guide you, teach you, nurture you, be your best friend, love you and even though those are my responsibilities, you do them for me too. You're my partner in crime and my support system.

As Initiation night approaches, the realization that you are about to join this group of women overwhelms me. You are moving from a girl to a woman. You are about to learn all of our secrets and rituals. Things you never understood about our sorority will be explained. You are about to become blood with these girls you've been going through pledge education with and all the sisters to come before you. These secrets are something to treasure. It's not just silly words or actions, they are significant and they will impact your life forever. I remember initiation week and the excitement and nerves that took me over. You are about to have your life enhanced in a way you were never prepared for, and it will be one of the biggest blessings to occur in your life. Your sorority is about to change from a group of girls to a group of sisters. You will understand sisterhood in a way that you never did before.

I am the lucky one who gets to stand beside you. I couldn't be more excited to have you as an official sister. You're about to have your life changed forever and I absolutely cannot wait.
