Over two years of waiting, and it was worth it!

5. The Introduction of Jessica’s Mother

At the core of who Jessica Jones is, there is the overwhelming guilt of her family’s death being her fault. But by introducing the shocking fact that her mother Alisa also survived the accident, Jessica is able to get slightly more closure over the fatal accident, as her mother does what any mother would do and tries to remove the blame from her daughter to her late husband.

4. The Fall and Rise of Jeryn Hogarth

Although this character has popped up in other Netflix Marvel shows, she is a main staple to Jessica’s world. That being said, she is almost completely removed from Jessica’s storyline with the two only having a handful of interactions throughout most of the season. Instead, Hogarth goes on her own character arc, dealing with her latest diagnosis of ALS, a disease that in her eyes takes all the control she carefully stacked up over the years and almost leads to her complete downfall.

3. The Final ‘Showdown’ of Jessica, Alisa, and Trish

This is a moment I never saw the show going, after all we waited over 2 years to see our favorite super PI on screen. The second, I saw Jessica’s mother get shot on the Ferris Wheel, my mind rushed through characters that I thought could be behind the trigger. But the real killer, Trish, was the furthest from my mind, after all killing her mother was the final cut tie to their friendship. I can’t wait to see what this means for their relationship next season, of course if there even is one.

2. Kilgrave’s ‘Return’

After Jessica kills again, it what can be argued as self-defense, Kilgrave returns to ‘haunt’ the PI’s mind. Although he only returns for one episode, it is an impactful one. Throughout the episode we follow Jessica as she deals with her mental tormentor, a presence of guilt over the life she took, as she fights against her urge to be more violent again, like her mother currently is. Seeing this character once again deal with the trauma that her abuser endured her though in a different setting is a fascinating character study not only on her past, but what this means for her future.

1. The Hinting at Hellcat

Ever since Trish ‘Patsy’ Walker graced our streaming screens, fans have been begging for her comic counterpart ‘Hellcat.’ And in the last few frames we see her in as she leaves ‘Alias Investigations’ fans finally saw hope for Trish’s costumed side making an appearance on the show. But for me this was a bittersweet moment. Sure we got to see Trish possibly being a ‘super’ next season, but with all that this character has gone through, especially in these last 13 episodes, this may bring her more harm than good.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
