Everyone knows that eyes are the window to the soul. This applies everywhere but college. One of the biggest trends students buy into is decking out your laptop in stickers so everyone knows what you're into. From school pride to movie quotes, your laptop represents you in a way nothing else can. Check out this list of 10 types of stickers you need ASAP to make your laptop even cooler.

1. Your School

Of course we need to know what school you give your all to (including tuition). Slap on a sticker that shows off your pride, from its logo to your mascot to famous pics.

2. TV Shows

It's hard to find someone that isn't obsessed with at least one TV show. Pay respects to your fave show or get a bunch of stickers for your top five!

3. A Hobby

From traveling the world to being a professional rock climber, there's probably something you have a passion for that you want to show off. Embrace the things you love by sticker-pride!

4. Music

It doesn't matter if you're super into bands and groups or only strictly into solo artists. Litter your laptop with logos, images, and lyrics of the music you're the most in love with. FYI, this is a great conversation starter with others who may be into them too.

5. Phrases or Quotes

You may live your life by certain phrases that have popped up over the years. From religious verses to pop culture quotes to societal statements, you can add some of these lines to your laptop to be reminded daily.

6. Things You Love

It's a known fact that everyone just loves random things for no reason. Love succulents? Cats? Cars? Adidas shoes? Coffee? I think you get my point. Add tons of stickers of whatever you're enamored with just because you can.

7. Animals

You may be an animal activist or just a plain ole dog lover. Nevertheless, buy some stickers of your favorite animals and plop them everywhere you can.

8. Places You Love

If you love cheese, ramen, or pasta as much as I do, then you might want to commemorate your obsession of food in sticker-form. You can show off your love for cuisine with funny puns or literal pics of your fave dishes.

10. Homage to a Memory

Memories are unique and influential to everyone. Some memories include fulfilling first times, like traveling or getting a car, or celebrations like graduation! Find stickers that remind you of these memories to make you happy 24/7.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
