I gave you dinner, but don't worry I didn't forget about dessert. These are the best places to fulfill your after-dinner sweet tooth.

1. Bread Ahead

By now everyone knows that I am obsessed with doughnuts. Bread ahead also offers baking classes for groups and individuals.

2. Yolkin

One of London's biggest dessert trends right now is macaron ice cream sandwiches. Not wanting to waste the leftover egg yolks from making macarons, Sammie the creator decided to make ice cream using the yolks.

3. Churros Garcia

One of London's most popular street foods these delicious looking churros come with a chocolate sauce on the side

4. Dominique Ansel Bakery

I was never able to make it to Dominique Ansel in New York, so hopefully, I'll be able to make it in London. Not sure if I want a cronut, chocolate chip cookie shot or a frozen s'more. Hmmm.

5. Tombo

I love matcha and anything of the sort. Tombo is matcha crazy, putting a fun green twist on each of their dishes.

6. Crosstown Doughnuts

All of Crosstown's doughnuts and everything in them is made by hand, from scratch, on-site. Their flavors change seasonally and they even come out with special edition flavors!

7. Fatties Bakery

I'm not that much of a hot chocolate person, but the second I saw a hot chocolate from Fatties bakery I knew I had to go. Their salted caramel hot chocolate has a toasted marshmallow rim, amazing.

8. Ben's Cookies

Ben's Cookies makes massive soft cookies in a variety of flavors. Their real secret is using "chunks instead of chips," which makes them that much better.

9. Shakes & Co

We all know that waffles and ice cream is really a dessert which is why Shakes & Co. does it so right. They have a variety of waffle sundaes and other items that go beyond basic.

10. Chin Chin Labs

Chin Chin Labs uses science (well, liquid nitrogen) to make their ice cream concoctions. Their menu is composed of super unique flavors like avocado and burnt butter caramel which is bound to make everyone in your party smile. They even have vegan options.

11. Dumdum Doughnuts

Dum Dum Doughnuts uses a patented cooking technology to bake their croissant-doughnuts. This technique gives them the best flavor and texture with significantly less fat. Not that I'm watching my weight, but it is nice to know.

Thank goodness traveling in London requires lots of walking because I'm going to be eating a lot of desserts. What else is studying abroad for though?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
