The girl with the Pink Mule Shoes

Okay, let's start this thing shall we? I swear to you I have been in the fashion game for a hot minute, yet I always wear the same boring flats or booties every dang fall or winter season. Now don't get me wrong, I love my grandma flats and my sassy booties that keep life going while also giving me some sort of acceptance into the fashion industry, but let me tell you about these pink mules.
These pink mules were everything. I mean everything. I had my eye on them for a while and I saw a friend purchase a pair of gold mules and I lost it. I felt so lost without these mules that I suddenly was standing in a mall looking into a window of a shoe store and had no idea who was looking back at me. I looked at this person and saw two - day old hair, a basic top, mom jeans, and boring flats. Oh yeah and six dollar coffee that tasted like dirt. That is when I realized I had to spice my life up. Please don't tell me I am the only girl on this green earth that has had this epiphany happen to them? Like one day everything just clicks and you're like "dear lord how did I end up with such a bad taste in my mouth over my fashion sense?". It is like I have been sleeping through fashion alarms that have been going off for years screaming "HELP" at the top of their lungs.
After having the mid life crisis of the century I proceeded to walk into the store and had to sit and just contemplate life for a minute (I mean not really contemplate, just sit to where I can get a hold of what I just saw, it was traumatizing). I wanted to regain myself, after all I want to be a successful fashion guru, but I had to make sure I looked the part first, right? So after several minutes of debating I looked up to see a sales lady. She was so confused by my struggles. The sighs that I let out and the weird looks that I could feel my face making obviously made her weary on wanting to assist me with my issues, but I feel as if she thought that if she didn't help I would be there for longer than necessary. So the shopping began.
I told the lady that was attending to my poor self about the issue at hand. I had to have these mules. She gladly got them for me. I proceeded to put them on, which by the way they fit like I was Cinderella. They fit like they were made for me. They had these amazing bows on them and they just shook me right to the core. I had to have these mules. So before you take the mule home you better ride the mule first to make sure she rides well. So up I go. I'm walking, I'm walking, I'm walking, and bamm these shoes made me fall head over heels in love with them, literally. Down I go. I plummet to the ground and make a noise that that of a giant would make when he falls from his stalk in the sky. It was that of a giraffe falling over his tie after work. A noise that poor saleswoman will never forget. I manage to look up and pretend I am Carrie Bradshaw for a quick second and scrape up my pink mules, go to the cash wrap, and wrap it on up and leave.
In the end let's take a look at these events. Pretty much I came, I saw, I conquered and realized how bad of a bitch I am, at walking that is.
