It's a scene that we can all relate to: a cold, actually freezing, Saturday night.

Your soul says go out and have a good time, but your body says no. In fact, you and your gals all feel the same way. So here's some movies that everyone needs to curl up and watch during these cold winter months.

Grab your favorite snacks, cuddle up with a blanket and put on one of these movies. These summer-y flicks will help add some sunshine to your life and a screen near you.

1. Moana

Add some sunshine to your screen. Watch Moana save the world and her people. Alongside her friend Maui, Moana sails to save her people and find herself.

2. Mama Mia

Sing and dance alongside Sophie and her mom. The movie is one of my absolute favorites and me and my friends know every song.

3. Letters to Juliet

The movie will make you want to travel to Europe and fall in love. It's a story of falling in love and findings the loves within our past. You will for sure shed a tear.

4. The Parent Trap

Take a trip down memory lane and watch a childhood classic. The movie will make you feel good and laugh.

5. Dirty Dancing

A total classic. A movie that everyone should watch. It will make you wish for your own summer romance. Watch Baby and Johnny dance and fall in love in the Catskills.

6. Aquamarine

Another childhood classic that will pull you out of your winter funk. The movie makes anyone wish that they were a mermaid. A summer-y filled movie will lift your spirits and make you want to jet off to Florida to meet your own mermaid.

7. Cheaper By The Dozen 2

A movie that will make you think back to your own family vacations. It's such a good movie filled with different family subplots and things that you can deal with in your own family.

8. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2

A movie for you and your gal pals. The movie will show that even no matter how far you may go, real friends will stay together no matter what.

9. Under the Tuscan Sun

The movie never fails to make a heart happy. When Frances makes a huge life change and buys a villa in Tuscany, her whole life changes for the better. It's a love story, a story of finding yourself and also it's set in the summer months in the beautiful setting of Tuscany.

10. Dolphin Tale

The movie never fails to make me cry. All about the story and journey of a dolphin named Winter's recovery. It's such a cute movie and it will make you want to fly somewhere tropical and swim with dolphins.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
