Ever felt let down and just don't know what to do? You feel as though hope is lost and you wish you had a time machine to fast forward things. You may feel depressed, stressed, or anxious etc. Each day from day to night is another long day you dreaded. You may a huge weight on your shoulders and don't know what to do.

You need that boost of energy or confidence to get through whatever obstacles you are facing. You need the inspiration to get out of bed, ask the girl/boy of your dreams, or just need motivation knowing you will ace that interview or exam. Here are my top 6 motivational videos that convey a special message in its own unique way.

1. US Navy Admiral-William H. McRaven- " Start Off By Making Your Bed.."

US Navy Admiral McRaven starts his video by describing to begin your day by making your day. Start off by making your bed, a small task that is so simple and common in our everyday lives and can create a long beneficial effect to your day.

Once you have done making your bed, you have completed one task and soon you will notice a domino effect where you have completed other tasks. He also goes into depth of his own personal experiences in the US Navy Training and how you conquer odds against you.


2. Denzel Washington- "Put God First and Fail Big " at Dilard University

If you find yourself lost and need some religious motivation, listen to the famous actor Denzel Washington. Denzel Washington was flunking in college and didn't know what to do in his life. He felt lost and didn't know where his life was going next. In this video, Denzel explains how the grace of God, planning, and taking risks that have led to being the successful actor he is today.

Ever felt you were so close to your goal and then all of a sudden everything went down a spiral? You felt angry and confused because you were so close, but now everything is gone. Feeling blue under the weather and your body is ill and having a fever? You have so many things coming up but physically and health wise you think you can't make it. We have all been sick before and believe it or not Michael Jordan won a championship game while having the flu.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
