Miroir’s Latest Projector is “Picture Perfect”

The M289 is the newest state-of-the-art ultra-portable projector from Miroir. Everything has been thought of on how to create the perfect projector, from its sleek, on-the-go design to its built-in kick-stand and multiple internal fans inside the device so it always stays cool. It weighs less than two pounds and is about the size of an external hard drive, allowing for the device to be carried anywhere, anytime, even in your pocket. The device is eco-friendly, featuring LED bulbs with 400 lumens and a 4k resolution, allowing for a clear, vivid picture and auto-adjusting for perfect picture quality for up to one hundred inches of screen display.

What I love especially about the M289 is how simple and easy it was to use. Right out of the box, all I needed to do was slide the built-in protective lens cap and plug in the video source into the projector, which in total took less than three minutes. It features a wide variety of inputs that allows for practically any media to be hooked up to it, from an Xbox to a Macbook with ease and without any extra adapters. It has an unbelievable battery life of around two hours which charges through the built-in battery and provided USB-C input cable. However, the downfall to this is that the device needs to be plugged in for a few hours for a fully loaded charge.

I tested both the picture and sound quality and was absolutely mesmerized. I projected a wide variety of content, from binge-watching Netflix shows to Powerpoint slides. The vibrant, crisp picture transported me into another world and made me feel like I was actually at the cinema. What really makes the M289 stand out from its competitors is that even as I had extended the screen size and dimensions, the quality never decreased and reduced distortion. Two internal speakers surround the device which resulted in a bold, brassy sound that filled my tiny room and made me get lost into the sound.

For less than $500, the M289 is without a doubt the best projector in its price range. With the perfect mix of straight-forward set-up, phenomenal picture quality, and stupendous sound, the M289 will dazzle consumers for years to come. 9.8/10

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
