January 8th, one of the biggest days for a college football players life. Two lucky teams go face to face in the biggest game of their lives and only one teams will leave with glory. Alabama faced off against Georgia this past Monday and it was a very intense game.

Alabama was down 13 points at the half and I was about to shit my pants. Alabama was toying with my emotions and I couldn't take it. There were penalties back and forth on both teams and some that weren't called from both teams. But the one thing that really stuck out that night was Alabama's offensive lineman, Bradley Bozeman proposed to his girlfriend on the sideline after the Championship was secured. He won twice that night and honestly, I'm very happy for him. Until I saw this...

This photo right here has been going around the internet here lately. With the comment "Alabama fan proposes to his sister after National Championship game." Seriously, how his that even remotley funny?Probably made by a pissed off Auburn or Georgia fan but in reality, this is messed up. This man is marrying the love of his life and you go around and poke fun and degrade him and his fiance with a very demeaning joke? How would you all feel if someone took your picture and put you in a meme like this for the whole world to see? You would feel like complete shit. Just because your team doesn't make it or because your team loses in the National Championship, doesn't mean its okay for you to mess with someones love life. Its wrong, disrespectful and just completely fucked up. Karma is real and to whoever made this meme, its coming.

What deranged mind would think its okay to degrade a man and his marriage proposal? Love is sacred and what you did was throw some dirt on it. I really hope that he doesn't see this photo because theres no telling what it could do to him mentally. He won twice that night and doesn't need some picture bringing him down.

People can say "It's just a picture", "It was a joke", "It's not that big of a deal.". Well it may not be a big deal to you, but to a man who is marrying the love of his life, well thats another story.

Memes are funny, we can all agree on that but when you poke fun at someones love life, that can really change things. If you don't wont things done onto you, then don't do it yourself. Stay classy, not trashy.

Roll Tide.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
