A lot can happen in the course of a few days. Good, bad, or indifferent these events can strongly impact a person and their perspective on the world, life, or another element.

For me, I experienced true love, and it wasn't from another person, but rather through Christ.

It’s difficult to comprehend sometimes, but there is a love much greater than us. It brings us together if we believe.

That love is the love of God. He created us to be who we are and although society isn't always very accepting of that, we are all made to be our true selves and live to follow the example led by His son Jesus.

As a Christian, I realized that the Lord is the one true source of eternal life and happiness. God is very forgiving and we don't have to feel ashamed of our sins. We truly have nothing to be ashamed of because our Savior already took care of that.

Jesus Christ, the son of God, traded power and luxury for living as a common man and eventually persecuted and killed. He carried our burdens on the cross so that we don't have to.

I am truly blessed to have found a community that shares that love and appreciation with me. We spent almost an entire week together on a retreat and learned to be one with Christ and with each other.

Although most of us just met for the first time, we were able to come together through our faith and love one another the way that God loves us.

It was through the study and comprehension of the Gospel that my peers and I were able to better understand who Jesus is and what it means to be Christian.
