Confession: I’m addicted to makeup. I have way too many products that do the exact same thing, yet somehow convince myself that their SLIGHT differences are what make them worth keeping/buying.
I love my collection and adore the items I have, but the true test for an addict like me is to figure out what makeup to travel with. Picking favorites is a painstaking process, but after traveling around Europe for the past month I feel like I’ve successfully created my perfect travel bag.
1. Milani Conceal and Perfect
I’ve wrote about about how much I love this foundation before, and the fact that I’m traveling with it says even more about how amazing it is. It is a full coverage foundation that doesn’t look or feel heavy on the skin, and will just make my skin look flawless even if I’m having an awful skin day.
I usually don’t wear this everyday when I travel, but I keep it on hand in case we decide to go to a club or special event.
2. Tarte Shape Tape Concealer

3. NYX HD Finishing Powder (Banana)

4. Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer (Cafe)

5. NYX Whipped Cheek & Lip Souffle (Pink Cloud)

However, this is my go-to lipstick for traveling! I love this pink shade and how it’s one of those “My lips but better” shades that will complete any look.
6. NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator (Sunbeam)
I’ve been a die-hard fan of this highlighter for years. It’s a super glittery icy pink highlighter, but somehow doesn’t look intense on the skin. The glitter gives a beautiful dewy look that I love, and the cool toned pink somehow looks so natural on my warm skin tone. I’ll also use this on my eyelids as a quick eyeshadow if I’m in the mood.
7. Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Mascara
Again, I’ve been a fan of this mascara for a long time. I don’t want to fuss with an eyeliner when traveling, so I want a mascara that will make my eyes look amazing. This mascara not only lengthens, volumizes, and thickens my lashes with just one coat, but also lasts ALL day. It is my favorite mascara I’ve ever tried and I don’t see that changing anytime soon, which says a lot for someone like me!
