College is expensive. Books are expensive. The clubs and organizations that you are in are expensive. The place you stay in is expensive. Let this article help you how to make money moves in the year of 2019.

1. Start a business

My freshman year of college, I made earrings for the girls on my campus to wear to events. I called my business 'Party Poofers' as these earrings are made to be the life of the party. I've seen people starting their food services in dorms, creating little boutiques, little salons, and even making apps. Whatever you are passionate with, creating business wherever you are ensures you money and teaches you business techniques needed for the future.

2. Become an influencer

Start a blog. Make a YouTube channel. Become an ambassador for a company. Small companies need ambassadors or representatives to push their company. Most of these programs have perks of receiving pay and/or receive merchandise.

3. Participate in contests and competitions

There are competitions for a broad amount of subject/majors everywhere. If you are passionate about music, join a musical competition. If you want to take your business to another level, there are entrepreneurship competitions for you to be a part of. Most competitions will ensure a cash prize if you try your hardest, which is lovely.

4. Use coupons

This may not be 'making money' but hear me out: coupons help save money that you need for other things. UNIDAYS is a great tool to use as it works with our favorite stores in order to get coupons and score amazing deals. You need your student email to make an account.

A great widget for Google Chrome is Honey. When you get to the checkout, Honey helps you by plugging different discount codes and picks the one that gives you the best deals.

It's 2019, get your coins.

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. But, I know that there are plenty of times I forgot to give you a simple thank you or an appreciative smile. I thank you for everything that you have done for me and will continue to do for me. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
